Although Maynard Tischler is primarily a clay artist and teacher, drawing has always been an important part of his work. This collection of prints from his sketchbook was recently completed at home during his self-quarantine experience. The sketches were inspired by Maynard's collection of postage stamp engravings which are an important pictorial history of the United States. The musician series also reflects Maynard’s love of music. In his own words, "I used my time of isolation to draw, as a therapeutic meditation."
